A Little Party Planning Note!

Our private adoption experiences are all about making new friends and creating special memories together!

While we love a good celebration, our little Adoption Center isn’t quite big enough for traditional party activities like cake, food, or opening presents.

We recommend saving those festivities for another location before or after your visit. That way, your time with us can be spent enjoying every moment of your adoption adventure!

A Few Little Questions?

How long is a private adoption experience?

Each private experience includes one full hour of exclusive access to the Bellinghamsters Adoption Center! During your visit, guests can take their time choosing their new friends, dressing them up, and preparing their little Ham Houses.

How many guests can participate?

Our little Adoption Center can comfortably welcome up to 15 guests for a private experience, including both participants and accompanying family members or friends!

Each private experience requires a minimum of five adoptions at $35 each, but not everyone attending needs to adopt a Bellinghamster. You’re welcome to bring along loved ones to share in the fun!

What’s included with each adoption?

Every guest adopting a Bellinghamster receives one plush friend, one outfit or accessory from our private experience selection, a colorful Ham House, and official adoption papers to make everything official!

Can we purchase additional outfits and accessories?

Of course! Guests can add extra outfits and accessories to their adoption. Additional accessories are available as $10 add-ons before or during the experience, so your new friends can head home with an even bigger wardrobe!

Are private experiences just for children’s birthdays?

Not at all! Our private adoption experiences are wonderful for birthdays of all ages, scout troops, clubs, family gatherings, and groups of friends. You never need a special occasion to make a new friend!

What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand that plans sometimes change! Cancellations made at least 14 days before your experience are eligible for a full refund, while cancellations made 7–13 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days are nonrefundable.

Rescheduling is complimentary with at least 7 days’ notice. Changes made between 72 hours and 7 days before your experience incur a $50 rescheduling fee.
