Refund policy
I want you to be delighted with your new Bellinghamster friend! If something isn’t quite right, here’s how returns and exchanges work at the Adoption Center:
Returns
- If you’re not happy with your order, please contact me within 2 weeks (14 days) of delivery to start a return.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and include any tags/packaging to qualify.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping. I recommend a trackable service; I can’t be responsible for return parcels lost in transit.
- Once your return arrives safely back at the Adoption Center, I’ll issue a refund to your original payment method. You’ll get an email confirmation when it’s processed; banks may take a few business days to post the funds.
- Special edition or limited items may not always be refundable; any exceptions will be noted on the product page.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are welcome within the same 2-week window.
- Items must be unused and in original condition.
- Customers cover shipping both ways (sending the original back and shipping the new item out).
- Exchanges depend on current inventory; I’m not able to reserve or hold items while your exchange is in transit.
Quality concerns
I check every hamster and outfit carefully, but if something slips through, please email a photo to info@thebellinghamsters.com. If your item is confirmed faulty, I’ll make it right with a replacement or refund.
Unique Charm
Bellinghamsters and their outfits are made in small batches, so tiny variations are part of their charm. No two friends are exactly alike, and that uniqueness makes each adoption special.
Final sale items
Some items (like seasonal or clearance accessories) may be marked final sale and can’t be returned or exchanged. If an item is final sale, it will be clearly noted on its product page.
